Giving Back: Little Kids Rock

January 7th, 2008 | by Bloddard |

Little Kids Rock is a foundation that revives music programs in schools that have lost them because of, among other things, budget cuts. They teach children how to play instruments by using the music they love and therefore can relate to; and they emphasize recording, improvising and composing. They currently have many chapters throughout the country that provide professional school teachers special training, so they can teach music at their schools. These teachers have access to a number sources that allows them to learn and learn fast, these include musical instruments and attending workshops.

Over the past decade, The Little Kids Rock Foundation has changed the lives of many children. I encourage to get involved, to help make a difference.
