Some people find inspiration in their past, some in their present, some in their significant other, and some in someone they admire or someone they care deeply about. Others might look to their surroundings, to dramatic events or personal accounts by other people. However it may be, I think every writer writes about things they have a personal connection to. George Lucas’ film American Graffiti was inspired by his love for race cars and Tyler Perry’s works have come from his childhood experiences. Tragedies like 9/11 evoke feelings or provide ideas that can lead to powerful motion pictures like United 93 and World Trade Center. Those who cry because they can barely feed their children due to recent hardships make many wonder what they would do if they saw themselves in such situation. Words by an important figure like Martin Luther King Jr. or a history making event like this year’s presidential election can give a sense of hope and a better future. The look on a child’s face, be it of fear or joy, or when you get a look of affection from that special someone. These are all sources of inspiration. How Your Local Public Access TV Station Can Help
Here in my hometown of Worcester Massachusetts there is a public access television station (WCCA TV), which, I have passed by many times but never really paid any attention to. I decided to look into it and discovered that it has a lot to offer. It is a community media center by the people and for the people; all programming is and can be produced by anyone who wishes to. It also offers a number of training programs that offer in depth knowledge about TV production, internships that in many ways put you in the driver’s seat and far as directing and producing programming goes and memberships that grant you access to the station and its resources.
