The third season of the award-winning medical drama House has been released. Drawing 19.4 million viewers, House, M.D. has become one of the most popular and influential Medical/Drama shows on TV; with its main character, the anti-social, self absorbed, intelligent and miserable, Gregory House.

I think Gregory House is a phenomenal character, because he has all the traits that compose a great character. He is a flawed hero. Most of what makes him interesting is the fact that he is “damaged.” All the great characters out there are far from being normal, to say the least; the Jack Bauers, John Mclanes and Rambos of the world are great because they are made up of these traits that just keep you coming back for more, because everyone can relate to them, everyone has problems and conflicts that pin them/us down to the ground; problems and defects the we just can’t escape.
